Struggling

Just my opinion.. Vaping is way harder to quit than cigarettes. It hasn't been 24 hours yet and I am struggling HARD. Shaky, jittery, sweaty, anxious. Anyone else ever have it this bad?

The first couple of days of nicotine withdrawal suck...they just do.  My experience is why I quit on my first and only attempt at it - because I knew that, knowing how awful it was, I would probably never be able to talk myself into going through it again if I failed.  You get through it the best that you can.  Sleep if you can, take lots of walks, lots of showers, clean out closets, drawers, go for another walk., play a computer game, call a friend, watch comedy YouTube videos, eat frozen grapes, or suck on Fireballs or lollipops.   Keep super busy the first few days....they WILL pass and it WILL get easier  But - the only way out is through.  ALL of us here who have been successful got through it - and you can, too!

Hang in there.  I promise it will get easier....just give it some time.

Hang in there!!!

There is no choice.

Addiction to nicotine is difficult to break. But believe in yourself. This is excellent site, and you get support.

Keep doing different things, but not vaping or smoking. You will win one day ...sure.

All the best !

I agree with you that it may be harder to quit vaping since you're not restricted where you can vape.  Withdrawal from nicotine isn't easy for most.  Know that what you're experiencing is normal for most quitters and we understand what you're experiencing.  Keep reaching out and stay close now.  You can do this.

Remind yourself "I don't do that anymore"

Back in the day...when l quit smoking & l am guessing a lot of other people here did, wr smoked everywhere too. I am a retired RN, doctors smoked while.they made their rounds in the hospitals. I DO think that when you are used to feeding your addiction all the time, it is not easy to withdraw but it IS possible & it DOES get easier.
