About Bonfires and How to Participate

About Bonfires

Bonfires are “virtual parties” where members of the community come together and celebrate their quits by “throwing in” their unsmoked cigarettes since their quit date into a virtual bonfire. New Bonfire events will be announced in the https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/community/celebrations-events?sr=search&searchId=b9c49085-30fd-4f... section of the community. Bonfires are opportunities for members to celebrate the success of everyone’s quits together and build a sense of community.

How to Participate

Bonfires are organized by an established, active member of the community. The organizer for a specific bonfire will create a new event in the “Join a Bonfire” space of Celebrations & Events. You can join a Bonfire by clicking on the “Celebrations and Events” tab.

At the end of the designated time for the bonfire, the organizer will add up all of the unsmoked cigarettes for a final tally for that bonfire and share it with the group.
