How to Find a Group That’s Right for You

How to Find a Group That’s Right for You

The EX Community is filled with all sorts of people from different places, occupations, quit dates, work history, hobbies and lifestyles.  You're bound to find a group of people who share some of your interests or ideas.

Conversations is a great way to interact with the community as a whole. Groups offer another place to get more focused support about quitting or other topics from people like you. Perhaps you know you need a lot of understanding and acceptance for your quit. Or maybe you've decided that “tough love” is the way for you.  Maybe your workplace has a lot of triggers you have to deal with, and you want to get advice on how to manage them.

To find a group:

1.  Click Groups from the Homepage and select “All Groups” from the dropdown.

2.  Search for things that interest you or relate to how you’re quitting by typing in text (for example, typing in Chantix if you’re using that medication and want to find others who are, too).

3.  If you don't find a group you're looking for, you can post a question in Community Help and we'll try to find a group for you.
