It's called look before you leap.
It's called common sense over emotion.
It's called "take a breath" don't jump to your death.
It's called WTH are you doing Fred?
Use your innerhead.
If you consider that who you are is a collection of thoughts
it's everything, it's all you've got.
I don't consider myself a collection of thoughts; the emotions would come out screaming Murder if I did so.
But when it came to quitting, the thought had to govern the process, or, I would not be where I am today. The brain had to accept the fact I am an addict, and decisions have to be made to keep me smoke free.
Do emotions come into place sometimes, to remind me "I liked" smoking, you bet they do? And that is when we use the tools "we don't do that anymore, NOPE"
