Think Of How It Might Have Turned Out If He Hadn't Been Worn Out By Chemo And Radiation.
I think it's very promising for all kinds of tumors. It apparently goes through your bloodstream attacking all cancers.
Probably, but he passed three years ago, they were at the very beginning of experimental treatment with the "vaccine". They offered it to him as last resort, rather than first line of therapy, and after reading the article, I am afraid they still are in the same phase today. It will take a lot of Red Tape before they can roll it out to the general public, don't you think? Even though, I know from being in that business, a bunch of reputable Pharma companies had a meeting with the President, and he asked them to make it happen faster...release stuff faster. This can be good and bad. Some of the side effects in some cases did not appear at all during the clinical trial, and they happen when it too late. It is why Bayer had to recall Baycol, a very "promising" diabetes drug, which killed some people before Bayer recalled it.
Yes,It's a few years away but one of the two parts is already approved for use in humans so one to go but, it's still amazing to me when there is a new hope and studies that support it.
I agree and share your hopes! My cousin, the closest I have to a sister is fighting breast cancer for now 2 years. Due to the associated medical conditions, she can't have any aggressive treatment. She is lucky to have a form of carcinoma treatable with hormones, but even these, are very hard on her body. I've seen just to many victims of the current course of treatment not be hopeful for a therapy which is gentle on someone already in distress.
They tried using this type of approach on my former neighbor, he was my age and had leukemia. After intensive chemo and radiotherapy, their next step was to create the "vaccine". Unfortunately his body did not last long enough for them to start the study. But is sounds really promising, something to look forward to be happening to those in need!
thank you for sharing Dale!
