Obviously you're doing it all "right." Not much to say? One month kind of says it all. You are where the person on the night before their quit wishes they were. You are so much farther ahead than you were a month ago, but you can't comprehend it because it still seems hard. I guarantee you it's not as hard as it was that first week. The hardness softens in increments. Some of those incremental changes are imperceptible. There are breakthroughs along the journey. Keep them in mind when they happen. The day you went half a day without a craving. A whole day without one. The day you didn't think about cigarettes first thing in the morning. The day you didn't think about cigarettes at all. The day you thought about them but didn't want one. They're all little bits of change that add up eventually to the freedom we hope to achieve - which is not wanting nor needing a cigarette. This is a strong addiction. And our cure takes time. Stay the course.
Congratulations on your 1 month of freedom. To go out you have to go through it. Go back to the beginning and take a look even write down all the positives and benefits there is to not smoking that you reaped so far. That will help motitvate you to keep on track. It really does get better with time. Stay strong and keep with NOPE you get you where you want to be is FREE!!
Congratulations on your 1 month nicotine free! It's a huge accomplishment so be proud of yourself. I totally get the feeling of wow, made a milestone, still sucks. You've just been inducted into No Man's Land. This really is a difficult time span that can be the slide leading down to smoking again. I used the NML group as another place of support to get through it. Celebrate your success even if you don't have anyone to celebrate with, do something good for yourself, and be vigilant with whatever you have used this past month to keep your quit on track!
one day, heck one minute at a time, whatever it takes hold on to your quit. Congrats on 1 month, be proud of yourself ps I do think the 2nd month will be a tad bit easier
