It will
pucker and punify the power
of any crave
and make that sucker run away
Try it and see!
the cravings will flee
and your life won't be
old nicotine's slave!
PS You will likely remember the pucker
for the next craving.

Yup. I'm back. This was my very first bite into a lemon back in 2012.
I posted a blog about it because:
1) It WORKED. This is a Hall of Fame level Crave Buster.
2) Because it looked, to me, like that lemon was smiling at me. Like it was happy that I was quitting...
Hi Dale!!! I've missed your wisdom and your humor!
xxxooo, Sky
Hi Sky
Great to see you
I had a chile relleno last Saturday.
this will get you most anyplace
I. Want. A. Chile. Relleno. NOW. I had two layovers in SAN just last week, but neither of them were long enough to even let you know I was there. I'm on vacation for all but 11 days of March, so I probably won't get any SAN layovers. But April is looking good. It's been pouring rain the last three times I was in San Diego. In fact, last week, our flight out of Houston into San Diego was delayed because of the bad weather in SAN. Has it also been pouring rain up in Oceanside?
I wouldn't say I've figured it out yet. But at least I can talk to my old friends. Now if I can just see where the new people post when they first find EX. I would love to greet and encourage them like I used to do on the old site.
Hey!! I'm picking you up in Catonsville to go to Virginia Beach in May, right???? Ellen said Donna was picking her up in Lexington VA, so I'm assuming we'll all meet up and get in one vehicle at one point. Also Brenda M is coming and I'm so excited about that, I can hardly type! She is so full of energy and just bubbles over with joy. When she smiles, it's the best thing EVER. You'll love her, I just know it.
(I had a 5am check-in at BWI on last New Year's Day morning. I almost called you to see if I could come up on New Year's Eve afternoon for a sleepover that night at your house. But I was able to drop the trip to someone else. So instead, I spent New Year's Eve and New Year's Day alone, watching Project Runway on Hulu. Not sure that was the better choice... )
You can find new people by going to the HOME page and scrolling down. They'll be on the right. Also check out Where do we go to find new members? And New Members
I am so excited that you are willing to do that again. We had SO much fun, didn't we? We will, though, have to figure out who Brenda's cows go to since she will be the odd number! Brenda and I have kept in touch as part of the sticker project - remember THAT?
I wish you had called NY Eve. I was binge watching American Pickers, I think, by myself!
So happy to see you here, and am looking forward to good times in VA Beach!!!
I will pass this tip on. I never heard of it before, neat!
I used the vapor rub and a rubber band around my wrist. Whatever works...right???:)
I used a rubber band around my wrist years ago when I was part of a Smoke Stoppers group...my poor wrist was so red and swollen that it was probably not the best thing for me. I had not thought of that for a while.
Ellen, you did Smoke Stoppers???? I did Smoke Stoppers way back in 1985 the first time I quit!! It was through the University of Michigan hospital system. They gave us elastic bands to wear on our wrists and snap HARD whenever a crave hit. They weren't rubber bands. They were made of 1/2" wide white sewing elastic and had "Smoke Stoppers" printed on them. I still have mine. Oh, now I've got to go see if I can find it!! It was a LIFESAVING crave buster at the time. (Didn't know about lemons back then...)
I did it once- and you know - it works! After that, just the thought of biting into one scared my craves away!
