Thank you jonescarp aka dale for the heads up. Actually it has been 1004 that I've been quit and I haven't felt better.  I have pretty much recovered from the stroke I had almost 2 years ago. There has been a lot that I'm grateful for, like my family and friends, and the people here that have been with me through my start of my quit. I have never wanted to smoke again. It seems to me that I worked so hard to quit that I never wanted to do that again. I know with me it was hard work to quit. I smoked at least 2 packs a day for 40 years. It was a lot of changing. So first I quit smoking, and then I gained about 15-25lbs. So after I got the smoking under control, which was about 8 months, I decided to go on a diet. I am now down about 25 lbs and eating a lot healthier than I ever was. So for all you people just starting your quit you can do it. There are so many people on this site that will help you. Right now I am 62 years old and I'm definitely not thinking of retiring. I have more energy than I did at 40 because at that time I smoked. I just started a new job and bought a new car! You can do it too. Quitting taught me that. Quitting taught me that I can do anything I want and I will. You can too! Thank you to all the folks that send me messages.  I really appreciate them.
