Good morning fellow EXer's!
It is with a sense of sadness that the Freedom Train announces the retirement of one of our special conductors! Marcie. However, it is with great joy that we are also able to announce that we have a new conductor joining us! *(insert drum roll)* ..............................Smorgy!
Sharon (Smorgy) of course needs no intrduction here! we all know her for her wit and wisdom that is on display in these pages everyday! We at the Freedom Train feel both fortunate and honored that she has chosen to join us! We look forward to many more years of celebration of our milestones on the Train! If all goes well Sharon will begin her tenure with us on Monday! Please join me welcoming her!
Also, I would like to EXtend my sincere thanks to Marcie! Several years ago when the Train became more that one person could handle, Marcie was one of the original three that stepped up and kept the Train on the tracks! In those day we tracked everyones quits and announced their milestones. Thanks to Maggie, Marcie and LindaN we were able at one point to track about 2000 quit dates! Eventually the Train became to large for us to continue that, and we now have a more generic form that ask each person to announce their own milestones! At any rate, over the years Marcie has contributed so very much to the operation of the Train, and to her fellow EXer's! Her rest is well earned, and her efforts greatly appreciated! Relax Marcie! You deserve it! Not one hit since the day she quit!
