Sandy Continues......

........to follow pretty much the projected track from yesterday. Overnight she has gained some wind velocity and now has maximum sustained winds(More than 1 minute) of 90 mph. That will decrease over the next 24 hours! The major problem with this storm is not so much the wind, but the water! This is especally true for those of you along the coast to the north of landfall! Take precautions and do not ignore warnings!

For those of you who are in the path of the eye, please remember that there will be a period of very calm as the eye passes over you. Do not mistake this for the end of the storm! There is a back side to the storm and while it is not as strong, it is still dangerous!

Hopefully by now you have your supplies laid in! Drinking water and non-perishable food, batteries and battery operated radio! If your water comes to you house vis an electric pump, fill the bathtub with water that you can use to force the commode to flush! Fully charge you cell phone! If you do not feel 100% safe in your home, it is time to get out! Do no wait until there is no where to go and no way to get there!

This is a storm that will cost a lot of money! Do not let it cost lives! Be prepared and stay safe!
