Good morning fellow Exer's! The Freedom Train is out of the shop and ready to roll! I would say just in time! Today is going to be a huge party thats starts in Alabama, goes thru Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Michigan, North Carolina, Kentucky, and ends up in South Dakota! If you guys do not rock the Train today there is no hope for you! Lets get this wild party started with a little housekeeping! As you know that Train did not make its daily run to Freedom yesterday! But there were milestone that went by! Today we wiil pick up those people first, so they can get a full does of what our celebration is all about!
The first stop for the Freedom train today is in the state of Alabama! we are here to pick up Grantmeone(Cecillia)! Yesterday Cecillia celebrated her 2 Year anniversary of being Smoke Free! While Cecillia has been very busy in her job as a Hospital Administrator, She has also found time to shed 55 lbs! In addition she and I share a common experience with the loss of a kidney to Renal Cell Carcinoma! But it is all good and we are Smoke Free. Hopefully, life will slow down enough for Cecillia so she can join us more often as we celebrate Freedom from tobacco!!
The next stop for the Freedom Train is in the state of Wisconsin! Here we are picking up Lauahe! I am ashamed to say that I do not know much about Lauahe! But what I do know is that Lauahe celebrated 100 Smoke Freed Days yesterday and we were not here to help celebrate! But we are correcting that today! So Lauahe, Get on this Train and let’s get ready to party!
Now the Freedom Train is on the way to Oklahoma! Anybody here know Peggy! Is there anybody here that does not know Peggy! If so come on out from under that rock! We have some celebrating to do! Peggy has 2300 Days today! 2300! I can’t yet imagine what that is like! 2300 Days! Peggy is one of our long time veterans here! Between this site and others, countless lives have been saved by her straight forward and honest approach to this addiction! Thank you Peggy for allowing us to be part of your community!
The next stop for the freedom train is in my home State of North Carolina! Here we are picking up Julie (nomoresmokes2011) it would seem that this young Lady has 100 Smoke Free Days behind her! So today when the doors to The Triple Digit Club swing open, walk through them proudly Julie! You are being inducted today! Congrats on the first 100 Days of your New and Improved Smoke Free Life! Hop aboard this train Honey, we are headed for Kentucky!!
In Kentucky we are stopping to pick up Tracy(TL). Tracy is getting to celebrate with this awesome group of Ladies today because he also has 100 Smoke Free Days behind him! Come aboard young Man! The Triple Digit Club inducts you today! Now we are on the way to Michigan!
Here in Michigan we are picking up our own Sweet Marcie (simtageous)! Marcie has 50 Smoke Free Days behind her and was so busy congratulating others that she never even heard the Train coming after her! But, yes Marcie we are here today and we are celebrating you!! So grab a seat in the bar car, because it is about to get carzy around here!
The stop that I know so many of you have been waiting for is coming up! Shannon, I need for you to call Cindy (Determined in Dakotas)and invite her out for beer to celebrate her first 100 days! As you approach the Bowling Alley you will hear a long low whistle of a Train! Head toward that! Cindy, you will hear my voice coming over the intercom saying “Cindy, get your party dress on because the Freedom Train is coming to pick you up”! There will be balloons and horns and confetti and shouts of congratulations! A door will open and you Favorite cheerleader Rick will emerge! (I just can’t put pom-poms in his hands)! Next you will see the arrival of Dale, Dale, Dale! There will be tears and hugs all around! Next in comes Kathy(Strudel). More hugs and tears! Then there come Ellen! She has abandoned her assault on the spammers to come and celebrate with the Posse! The light then reflects off of the badge of the sheriff! It is Dodge! She is here to celebrate you! Hugs again and a quiet thank you for the save last week! Here come the rest! Your hero from Daytona, Thomas, Julie and Lisa, Carolyn, Linda, Laurie, Lonita! Everyone is here and they are here for you! Today is your induction into The Triple Digit Club! You are about to hear my voice call out for all to board this Train! It is time to celebrate and we are celebrating you!
