Good morning fellow Exer's! The Freedom Train is running a little late this morning! It took a long time to clean up after those incredible parties yesterday! We also have three cleaning crews trying to get the Freedom Cruise Liner back in ship shape! What an impressive display of affection and caring yesterday! I am very humbled! More on that later! Welcome aboard the Freedom Train as we begin our daily journey to Freedom from tobacco!
The Freedom Train starts out this morning by picking up my Dear sweet friend Judy(!) ! That is right ! Judy came to this community and identified her self with a question mark! She quickly discovered that there was no question about her ability to walk away from smoking! She is now identified by the Exclaimation Point that was the end of her addiction! That was 250 Days ago! Judy has never looked back, and altho she remains a lady of some mystery, I am proud to call her my friend! Come and celebrate with us today Judy! You deserve the best! Congrats on the first 250 Days of your New and Improved Smoke Free Life! I am glad you are here!!
The next stop for the Freedom Train this morning is for Zinamarie! She has 40 Days. Yes, I know that is not what we normally call a milestone! But this Young Lady came here full of woe and doubt! She showed up at the Ray Steele Memorial Bonfire with, if I remember right, 7 cigarettes! She did not know she could quit, but she wanted to jump right in and be a part of us! Jump in she did! She is now a part of our community and is re-learning life without cigarettes! Hop on this Train Honey, it is time to celebrate!
Also we are stopping by again to pick up Lynette! Lynette missed the Train on her day 150! So we had a Starlight Run for her last night! She missed that too! She was helping a friend that is giving up smoking! That is a noble excuse! Therefore, I intend to take the Train to pick her up everyday, until she slips into that Little Black Party Dress and those Red Shoes, and climbs up here in the cab of the Freedom Train with me! So, Lynette, is today the day? Congrats on day154 Honey! Now let's get this party going! Would someone bring me the proverbial "hair of the dog"? Thank you!
