The Sheik arrived this morning telling me that he had received my message.
He was already on his way to here as a Bedoin had already reported a gathering of Nic’s forces here.
He told me that a large group was setting up to ambush travelers as they passed by.
Their aim is to drag people back to Nic’s compound and enslaving them again to nicotine addiction.
A group of Bedoin should be arriving in a day or a little over with what we will need to counter their plans.
When they arrive, we will develop a plan of action.
Until then, travel carefully my friends.
Keep a sharp eye out for anything that looks suspicious.
Keep people at a distance until you can assure that they are not one of Nic’s thugs.
You can make this journey safely across NML and join those that have traveled the trail before you.
They await you with open arms, food, and cool water.
