Haven't seen one of THOSE for awhile. Used to crest a hill on my way to work at around 6:15 in the morning, and could see the sun rising over Baltimore City and the harbor in the distance. Always enjoy getting up for at least one over the ocean when I am there - but that's been awhile, too!

The only sun rises I see are when I get up to pee at the crack of dawn. Then if I'm really lucky I can get back to sleep for another 3 or four hours. (Course I go to bed between 2 and 3 am - sometimes 4 am) Yours might be worth staying up for it's full completion! lol Beautiful sunrise! Beautiful picture. Love the little dots of the human lights amidst the dark foreground.
Definitely don't need a smoke to get in the way of that perfection.
