Smoking was such a huge part of each of our lives.
How do we replace it?
How do we fill the big empty place quitting leaves?
You know, it's ok to try to stay busy to try and ignore that hole but it will only get you so far.
Someone wrote me today and was describing an addiction that was as strong as if they had just quit yesterday.
This is that hole.
They have stayed busy for over a year but I don't think they replaced smoking with anything which means that void is going to appear occasionally.
I would suggest you do something for yourself that lifts your spirit . A new "go to"
My fear is that if you never fill the void with something that enhances your being, smoking may always be waiting in the wings.
You need to let it go by finding something fulfilling that feeds your soul.
Whether it be religion or music, or meditation, or exercise. FIND IT
Going on with your day to day life may not be enough to keep your quit.
Find something better than smoking and let smoking go.
