It has been 41 days since I quit smoking. I never thought I would say that. I am very proud of myself right now. My self essteam just got a huge boost. But that is not why I am here this morning. I have some fantasic news. I went with my dad to pick up some things for the Super Bowl this past Sunday (disappointed by the way) , well snack foods wasn't the only thing he bought. He bough some of that nicoten gum. You better believe that I told him how proud of him I was for at least putting in some kind of effort into trying the quit. As far as I know he hasn't started yet but I didn't see him smoke yesterday.

I believe that my quit has inspired my dad to quit. My mom has cut back on smoking but hasn't quit yet. My prediction. This house will be a smoke free home with in the next 6 months. I hope that I am right. Because I know that we will all feel so much better.

Remember, "It feels good to be a quitter."
