The walls comes crashing in

We all get the feeling of the tower is crumbling.  Just last night after a very stressful day, I had the overwhelming urge to smoke.  Mind you, this was after being smoke free for seven months.  But I realized my trigger and the reason for smoking.  I used it in that time and space for relaxation.  So I just simply did my deep breathing exercises and calmed myself down.  I acknowledged the urge.  I recognized the trigger.  And I chose to not act on it.  As you get further along and the cravings are less and less and it all becomes a head game, you simply have to choose not to smoke and above all love yourself !!!!

Never be afraid or embarrassed about your "smoking thoughts" while quitting, they're there to remind us how strong we truly can be. Always remember, you will always WANT to smoke, but you have to CHOOSE not to. We can't break the ties that bind us without first changing the cycle that created it.
