Just can't shake the blues

The depression was the worst part of NML.  I'll tell you what I've learned for myself is that NML (130 days) clock started for me when I had my last dose of nicotine.  Which meant that I wasn't clean until March 20th even though I quit on January 25th.  I used the patch until then and notice at around day 190 or so, take a little before, the gate seemed to open for me and I was finally free.

Never be afraid or embarrassed about your "smoking thoughts" while quitting, they're there to remind us how strong we truly can be. Always remember, you will always WANT to smoke, but you have to CHOOSE not to. We can't break the ties that bind us without first changing the cycle that created it.
