Share your quitting journey
Thank everyone so much for all of your love and encoragement. One full week of being smoke free and it seems to be a real bad struggle the last 2 days. The first 5 days weren't really that bad. Today I woke up desiring a cigarette but didn't give in. This is the second Sunday of being smoke free.
I have not been around anyone who smokes so that helps. It is a wonder I am not floating as much liquids that I have drank when the urge hit me. I also use hall's sugar free mental cough drops when the craving hits. It seems like a physical fight not to give in. I know I can do it because last time I was smoke free for a year.
When my marriage went down the tubes i leaned on my crutch, good old cigarettes. God brought me here and He knows want he is doing so I trust Him. This time I have stopped smoking and I will stay stopped.
Congratulations to everyone on here whether you have quit or trying to quit. This is an awesome support group and I thank God for each and every one of you.
God bless
Carolyn
