I did mess up

On the day that would have been my 6th week of freedom. I know what I did wrong and so I know not to do it again. Today was going to be day 1 but I woke up in a panic and went outside immediately and smoked a short. My new quit date is tomorrow. Since I smoked that 1st cigarette this morning I have been fine. Almost like I didn't smoke at all this past week. I hate starting over but of course, that's the consequences when we quit on our quits.

I'm 59 with severe COPD. I've decided I really want to live and I won't if I smoke. I have 4 grown boys, a grandson and granddaughter due on 9/10. Lots of reasons to live.
