YOU CAN'T HAVE JUST ONE!

I keep seeing that people are learning this lesson AFTER they have decided to have "just one" after they quit, so I decided maybe a blog with the title might help someone not to make this tragic mistake.

The Law of Addiction (from whyquit.com) states:

"Administration of a drug to an addict will cause re-establishment
of chemical dependence upon the addictive substance."

It may not happen right away, but it will always lead you back to smoking.  ALWAYS!

Cigarettes travel in packs.  It is not now, nor will ever be, possible to smoke even just one.  As an addict, it just cannot be.....period!

PLEASE don't think you can be an exception!

A quit is a terrible thing to lose.

I smoked until a vascular surgeon informed me of the damage I had done to myself by doing so. I quit 11 years ago, and I can swim laps virtually FOREVER now, walk most other days 40 minutes to an hour and a half. What a difference quitting has made in my life! I strive to help others find this wonderful freedom from addiction, too.
