A Red Fox!

I was drinking my coffee, looking out my kitchen window this morning when I saw a fox very much like this one, taking a drink from my birdbath.  He was really large, really red,  had defined black "socks" and the bushiest tail I have ever seen!  He was STUNNING - so healthy and so magnificent! I live in an established village, so this sight is not a regular one.

I couldn't get my phone on in time to capture the moment, but I know one thing.  Had I still been smoking, I would not have been at that window with my coffee.  I would have been out back, puffing away.

Yet ANOTHER benefit of quitting!!!

I smoked until a vascular surgeon informed me of the damage I had done to myself by doing so. I quit 11 years ago, and I can swim laps virtually FOREVER now, walk most other days 40 minutes to an hour and a half. What a difference quitting has made in my life! I strive to help others find this wonderful freedom from addiction, too.
