I rarely check my days quit anymore, but had to log in yesterday when the site came back up, so I took a peek.

I could not IMAGINE being quit for this long when I first started out. Here is a blog from my first week quit:  /blogs/Youngatheart.7.4.12-blog/2012/07/09/i-made-it I think those of you who are newly quit will recognize the feelings I had.  FWIW - I took Chantix.

IF I DID THIS, EVERYONE CAN.  Really, truly!  And - it's more wonderful to be free than you can imagine!  It is truly worth the early days' struggles to get here.

Life IS grand when we don't smoke - truly!

I smoked until a vascular surgeon informed me of the damage I had done to myself by doing so. I quit 11 years ago, and I can swim laps virtually FOREVER now, walk most other days 40 minutes to an hour and a half. What a difference quitting has made in my life! I strive to help others find this wonderful freedom from addiction, too.
