If you have been quit for awhile, you may still have smoking thoughts for about two years as each season changes . I think this is caused by the fact you haven't had a lot of practice relearning those rites from the past. Seeing those first crocus blooming, the first day of warm breezes, the birdsong all remind us of our past smoking lives.
Don't let it concern you; it's perfectly normal. A shake of the head, a repeat of, "but I don't do that anymore" and you can be on your way again. Instead of remembering your past smoking rituals, think about all that you have gained by not smoking! You might even notice the smell of the daffodils. I guarantee you couldn't smell their delicate fragrance when you were a smoker!
Rejoice!
