Well, I have sprained my ankle - but it isn't super swollen - so think that is a good thing.  I can put a tiny bit of weight on it without excruciating pain (unlike last night!).....so I am feeling hopeful.  No sleep last night - thing was throbbimg to beat the band, and didn't want to take heavy duty drugs and then have to get up and navigate during the night.  Living alone sometimes stinks.  I have good friends who are taking care of me - but they aren't available in the middle of the night!!   I think I will stay downstairs tonight - got a wheelchair in, so not so afraid of maneuvering the long distance to the bathroom on crutches in the night.  Just taking care of basic needs is exhaustting, though.

Thanks to everyone who sent their wishes.  It makes a world of difference when you are down to hear from everyone. Please keep the prayers coming.    They are most appreciated!

I smoked until a vascular surgeon informed me of the damage I had done to myself by doing so. I quit 11 years ago, and I can swim laps virtually FOREVER now, walk most other days 40 minutes to an hour and a half. What a difference quitting has made in my life! I strive to help others find this wonderful freedom from addiction, too.
