"Friends I'm sorry!  Almost 200 days and I couldn't hold it. A little alchohol (yup) (normally not a problem)  an old friend, they lit up, a little wine, a little summer weather. Romancing the cig  I was toast!!!"

Alcohol loosens inhibitions and has ruined many quits.  Don't let it ruin yours!

ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ABOARD!!!!!!!!!

Some Exes entering the first or second years of the changing of the seasons might find themselves doing a bit of pining about the "good old days." You know - sitting on the deck after weeding a flower bed, or mowing the grass with a cold drink and a smoke?  Expect it - it takes two years of those associations to pass before that trigger seems to fade.

Remember - just because you think about it doesn't mean you have to act upon it.  Remind yourself that you don't DO that anymore....and maybe find a good substitute.  I stopped drinking sodas - so now reward myself with a Pepsi with crushed ice for those times.

Stay vigilant, my friends!

Nancy

Drinking and smoking is not required to have a good time.

Cue Miss America soundtrack, "Isn't she love-ly!"

:-)

I have had three major surgeries in the past year and as a result, I am still working on regarining my strength.  I have just graduated from a waker to a cane - but I have things to DO - like working in my woodland garden at the very back of my yard,  hanging my clothes outside (I LOVe how they smell!), and cleaning  out winter debris from my flower beds, etc.  With a cane, you can't carry a rake, shovel, handtools, gardening bench....so I  got a tool.  I originally got it for yard work.

I rea;ized today that if I keep it handy, I can use it ALL the time to make my work easier.

You have been given tools here on the site to make your quit easier.  Keep them handy and learn to use them.  Don't let a smoking thought rattle around your head alone.  USE THE TOOLS in your kit!

Isn't life GRAND when we don't smoke?

Candy crack, that is!  The village farmer's market opened today. The vendor that makes a confection  consisting of a white chocolate wafer with pretzel pieces drizzled thickly with caramel and chocolate arrived back today.

Who needs cigarettes when you've got THIS?

What is your candy crack?
