Update and Thank You!

Well, I didn't walk out with the 20/20 vision I was hoping for but I'm still very grateful!

First because I can undoubtedly see much better than before the operation even without my eyeglasses.

Second because I have teams of folks praying for my restored vision.

Third because my eyesight could still improve as the week unfolds!

My cataract was so thick that it caused a lot of inflammation which manifests in blurry vision and sensitivity to light. The eye drops include an antibiotic, an anti-inflammatory and a steroid (which is ironic because the cataract was probably caused by the steroids I've had to take for my lungs!)

The Dr is more optomistic than I am about the expected outcome. I'll be glad if I can still drive and work with or without eyeglasses.

The operation itself wasn't all that bad due to anesthesia and the fact that eyes are not very vascular. The worst part of my day yesterday was fasting! LOL!

Today my eyes feel dry and itchy but I hope with a few rounds of eye drops that will improve.

The rest, like all of our Lives, is in God's hands.

So I'll Let Go and Let God and wish all of you a peaceful and restful weekend!

Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers!
