Teaching my Granddaughter my Culture!

What can be more EXciting than that?

Miss Penelope now 10 Months old is learning Spanish which my Wife and I are using exclusively when we have playdays at our home!

It takes her a few minutes to switch gears but soon she's in the groove - listening to what we have to say and I'm convinced - figuring out what we're getting at!

For Halloween, we have our unique Mexican take on Dia de los Muertos with dancing skeletons and festive decor.

Little by little, Penny is picking up on the flavor of authentic Mexican culture and customs!

Here at becomeanEX we have a whole culture as well! When I first got here it kind of threw me off because this site is much different from other Quit Smoking sites with it's own language of N.O.P.E., willingness, S.I.N.A.O., N.E.F. and so much more that I had to learn along with a new perspective and way of thinking! It took time to catch on but was richly worth it!

There were also many cultural differences such as bonfires and Freedom Train, Daily Pledge and more. I explored all corners of the website with curiosity and absorbed the culture and the meaning behind it all just as Penny is absorbing my culture and it's meaning!

My belief is that my Quit Journey benefitted greatly from this EXperience!

I hope you who are new here will be very snoopy - look around, READ READ READ! Pick up a culture and language centered around Smoking Cessation and Recovery for a Life of FREEDOM from Nicotine!

You will learn so much just by taking it all in!

Happy Halloween, Everybody!
