What is it Like?

Today my mind is on my Friend, JoJo and I feel as if I'm standing right next to her, wiping the tears from my eyes and trying feebly to come up with some words of encouragement! She is so much stronger than I am! If this scenario were true, she'd be comforting me! What is it like to be in her shoes today? What is she thinking about as she faces her fate Tomorrow and finds out if she might might be one of the lucky ones whose life will be saved with a lung transplant??? This isn't only speaking as a friend, although I hope I'm a good Friend - I certainly know she is a Good Friend to me! - but I also may have to literally be in those shoes! I may one day be on the brink of transplant or rejection! So Yea, I hope and pray and dare to trust right beside her as if it were me! And I push the doubt and worry and sadness and fear away! I have to because somehow she (and I) have to make it through the next 36 hours - the minutes tick so slowly and yet, before we know it the conclusion will be drawn! Please Lord give Her Strength! Give me Strength and wipe away our tears!
