"When life's problems seem
overwhelming, look around and see
what other people are coping with.
You may consider yourself fortunate."
- Ann Landers

One of the best ways that I've learned to protect my quit since I first joined this site is supporting others! If you are just getting started then may I suggest that you get involved and Blog not just about what you're going through but giving strength and encouragement to your fellow quitter? Comment on somebody's Blog and/or page... Cheer on your quit buddies and lift up those who are struggling! You'd be surprised at how much these activities will teach you about your own quit journey and fortify your determination while focusing on the true goal - FREEDOM, letting go of romancing the cigarette! We often can promote healthy decisions in others that we can't see for ourselves! This is a Great way to get around that ADDICT mind and see the good that you are doing for yourself! Plus you have the added benefit that when you lift people up, they're there for you! It makes you think and really count your blessings and share HOPE with the next guy! While you're at it, don't forget that most of us started out in the Forums, completely lost and stumbling around this site with no guidance! Reach back into the Forums and grap a newbie into the Blogs! You'll feel GREAT! Most important you will never know whose LIFE you saved!
