If you still don't see the absolute absurdity of smoking....the total ridiculousness of it AND the absolute criminal conduct of cigarette companies......maybe THIS will convince you........
I ordered some books from Amazon.com that are very old books and have been out of print for awhile.......
While reading one this evening, I came across a cigarette ad placed right "in" the paperback book as used to be done for those who remember. I sort of smiled when I saw it and stopped to read it.......and saw that it was a Kent cigarette ad talking about " Kent's micronite filter". I remember this so well but of course, I don't remember ever wondering what that word meant. Of course....in the 60's and 70's we didn't have good old "google" to look things up so easily. I grabbed my phone and typed in micronite......turns out the "wonderful" micronite filters were made of a particularly virulent form of asbestos. The article began with "It's hard to think of anything more reckless than adding a deadly carcinogen to a product that already causes cancer-----and then bragging about the "health benefits" of the micronite filter". Kents were manufacture by the Lorillard Tobacco company. Lorillard also owns the electronic blu eCigs!
You may remember that on a comment I wrote recently on a blog I asked.......what is IN those things anyway---referring to ecigs, Juul etc. Anybody willing to bet they are "completely safe" and a "healthy alternative to smoking"? If you do.....you may want to try a micronite filter with that ecig...................................
