Hello all! It's been a long time since I last posted. Life stays busy and I just came back from an amazing 2 week vacation. I used my "NO SMOKING" savings fund to go to the Smokey Mountains for a week and the North Georgia Mountains for another week. I had a wonderful time---but I admit, I smoked.
LOL, at least that's what that stuff that came out of mouth looked like when the temps dropped
😉 It's been so many years since this Florida girl has breathed smoke because of cold temps that it actually threw me for a minute. Then I laughed and made a joke that I smoked in the Smokey Mountains.
Finally taking a break to rest from vacation. Dang I'm so exhausted that I need another vacation! I had so much fun and went non-stop. The old body is still complaining but my heart and mind are filled with the beauty of the fall leafs on the mountain, the wildlife, spending a little time with family. It was even better than I hoped for.
I am so thankful that I stopped smoking and started a vacation account with the money that I was no longer using to buy cigarettes. The fun, beauty, and memories will be with me forever vs a cigarette that's gone in a matter of minutes and forgotten. A cigarette holds no fond memories or amazement at the sheer beauty of the world or the majesty of the herds of Elk that I witnessed. A cigarette doesn't hold the purity of the rushing mountain stream that was under my hotel balcony. All the years that I wasted, all the years I couldn't afford to go on vacation, simply because my extra money was going up in smoke 😞 That makes me sad.
So, at 2 Years, 2 Months, 3 Weeks, 5 Days, my "No-Smoking" Vacation Account is at $0.00 😞
Oh no, WAIT!! I haven't deposited any money into the account for the 2+ weeks I've been vacationing! Time to get that money in the bank and start planning my NEXT vacation!
