Day 447

Just dropping in to say hello and wish each of you a beautiful day!
Life continues on and I'm glad I decided to spend time helping those that need me most. So much seems to be happening at once. Since I last blogged, in addition to my stage 4 lung cancer friend and my double mastectomy cancer friend...my son-in law had to have knee surgery  again, this does not bode well for his military retirement plans 😞 And my mother-in-law was admitted for a heart stint that turned into a medical saga that changed from stint to bypass, from bypass to pacemaker, from pacemaker to medicine, back to pacemaker then back to medicine for a month to see if they can avoid a pacemaker! She has a lot of health issues so we pray the medicine will do the trick. She was at a good hospital and has a top rated Washington DC cardiologist so we are hoping everyone knew what they were doing with her health care.

Stressful, to say the least! But, as the saying goes   "When the going gets tough, the tough get going!" I'm a pretty tough old bird so despite the stress, I will stay strong and continue my quit journey. I also know...smoking won't help or change a thing!

Did you hear that?   Smoking won't help or change a single thing! Remember that!

  Love, peace and well wishes,
  Marilyn
