Our buddy our pal our friend our Hump Day Camel George and I want to wish each of you reading this a Stressfree hasslefree but most importantly a Smokefree Day as long as we all stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance then we're guaranteed a life of Freedom once we've bit the bullet and have taken our lives back from the clutches of the dreaded nicotine poison then as long as we - N.E.F - Never Ever Forget that horrid DAY ONE - we'll remain Smokefree going back to another Day ONE  would totally suck big time BUT I smile for each and Day WON there's not an EXcuse that's good enough on the face of this earth to screw up a perfectly beautiful quit so relapsing isn't an option ....... It was-1°F when I first got up but it's warmed up to 3 degrees I got to go take my mother in law to an appointment so I better go get ready.....

If you're reading this and you're struggling with remaining quit please stay close because we're all here to help you in any way we can you can and you will make it through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep to get to that point where you realize how much better life is as an EXer it's not easy by any stretch of the imagination in those early weeks but with commitment and perseverance you'll make it to that good place in your quit and to that beautiful AHA moment when you realize that there really is LIFE after Cigarettes and it's super fantastic then you'll never ever want to go back to Day ONE again BUT you'll be smiling at each and every Day WON ........

Being Successful in just about anything including quitting smoking starts with the decision to begin along with the commitment to stick with it which turns Day ONE into DAY WON into Days WON into a life of Freedom free from the clutches of the dreaded nicotine poison,  if you have the right Mindset you can do just about anything and quitting smoking should be at the top of the list of things to do for your health family and friends but especially your LIFE. ....

Happy St Patrick's everyone   My Mom was half Irish and half French    I'm wishing everyone a hasslefree Stressfree but most importantly  another Smokefree Day to be WON, Our quits are firmly in our grasp and it's up to us to nurture and protect the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE as long as we all stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance then we're guaranteed aa life of Freedom........

Life is going to happen whether we smoke or not and choosing Not to Smoke can be an EXtremely difficult choice in the early days and weeks especially if you're in the throes of an horrendous craving BUT with the right Mindset you will make the choice to stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance I know it's not easy BUT thankfully it's Doable and totally worth it so each evening you can say YAY for another Day WON  LIFE really does get easier and easier with time under our belts and it definitely gets better and better without the crutch of cigarettes BUT it does take time to relearn life without the smokes BUT boy oh boy it's a great Feeling once you get to that point where you realize how much better life is as an EXer. ....

When I joined this community June 22nd of 2014 little did I know that when I actually started my Day ONE which turned into Day WON on the 14th of July 2014 that I'd still be here 1,705 splendiferous days later BUT I want to be here like many others that's been here much longer than myself than there's others that also come and stay because we know that quitting smoking is absolutely Doable definetly difficult to say the least BUT very Doable and we want everyone to live a Smokefree Life and be able to go anywhere anytime whenever wherever and however without worrying about where to sneak off to suck on a damned Cancer Stick and I know from EXperience that LIFE is sooooooo much better as an EX smoker non smoker or EXer it doesn't matter what you call it as long as you quit and stay quit ........ I better go punch my bread down I got up before 6 so Mark could stir my bread for me before he went to work I make such a big batch that it's really hard on my hands to stir it myself over the last year or so I've got arthritis pretty much everywhere BUT my thumbs and hands are the worst BUT that's A OK I do the kneading, greasing the pans and the baking, I usually get 13 loaves and a pan of rolls out of a batch. I normally only eat maybe a loaf a week BUT Mark and Mason pretty much quills a batch every nine or ten days we don't buy store bought bread at all, I think I'll make brown bread tomorrow to go with a crock pot of beans and a potato salad, my brown bread recipe only makes three loaves BUT it'll help stretch the white bread out a day or two longer. Let's not allow ourselves to become complacent and lose the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE as long as we all stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance then we're guaranteed a life of Freedom......Besides once we've quit smoking there's not an EXcuse that's good enough on the face of this earth to screw up a perfectly beautiful quit so relapsing isn't the answer period at least that's in my humble opinion because I love being Free.......

Our buddy our pal our friend our Hump Day Camel George & I would like to wish everyone a a hasslefree Stressfree but most importantly a Smokefree day, George wants everyone here at Ex whether you're on day one or day one hundred or one thousand or two thousand that living a life of Freedom free from the clutches of the dreaded nicotine poison is absolutely the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE sticking with our precious quit journey guarantees us a LIFE of Freedom so let's always remember and N.E.F - Never Ever Forget - Smoking Kills and it doesn't matter who you are or where you live smoking kills and it kills slowly so sticking with N.O.P.E and vigilance on a daily basis keeps us FREE & Lord willing we'll be able to live a much happier healthier life and that thought makes me smile because being around to enjoy the little things in LIFE without the crutch of cigarettes sounds mighty good.

Once you decide to join the ranks of being an Ex Smoker Non Smoker or EXer it doesn't matter what you call it as long as you make the decision to quit smoking and educate yourself by reading everything you can about this horrid addiction and believe in yourself then with perservence and commitment you can and will succeed in living a life of Freedom plus we're all here to help you in any way we can, I was so glad that I finally wised up after 40 years of smoking roughly 30 smokes a day with at least a half dozen half assed failed attempts BUT once I found this site and did the reading which really strengthened my resolve to kick the nicotine poison to the curb permanently which wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination. I know that I've said this many times BUT it's the absolute truth that there were many days in my early weeks that I'd be laughing one minute and the next I'd be blatting & snotting like a baby and the next I might be wanting to tear my hair out or rip someone's face off anyone's face it really didn't matter who's face but instead of throwing my hands up in the air and screw up my perfectly beautiful quit I'd come here and blog and there was always someone here to help me through so please if you're struggling come here and blog HELP and wait for a bit because someone will be right along to talk you through because there's definetly Life after Cigarettes BUT you must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever and vigilance which guarantees you a Smokefree Life ......

Thankfully we can make the choice to quit smoking and with commitment and perseverance we can stick with N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever and with deep breaths we can plow through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep to get to that point where we realize how much better life is without the smokes, it can be totally horrid and the cravings can be almost overpowering notice that I said almost because as difficult as it is in those early weeks it's also absolutely Doable and totally worth it to be Free...... Believe it because boy oh boy Freedom Rocks.....

It's my oldest grandson Adam's 15th birthday today we enjoyed a little due here yesterday my daughter Mandy took most of the pics with her phone which she'll share with me later and it's also Daniela's Daniela-3-11-2016 3 year milestone YAY for her splendiferous quit journey WTG my friend and Fellow Exer and most definetly EXtended family XO, isn't LIFE Grand without a Cigarette in Hand today is a great day to CELEBRATE ........

CONGRATULATIONS Daniela LET'S CELEBRATE ......

I set the clocks ahead last night, this morning I thought wow I slept until 7:30 then I realized it was actually only 6:30  oh well after a week or two I'll be used to it,  it's going to nice having the extra hour of daylight in the evening though we're having a little birthday due here this afternoon I've already picked Adam up he'll be 15 tomorrow his Dad my son Alfred will be 36 on the 22nd and Mason's birthday is the 25th. I baked a cake yesterday with green frosting and sprinkles and cupcakes with pink frosting and sprinkles  Mason picked the colors of the frosting, living a Smokefree Life is absolutely wonderful BUT it does take time and effort to get to that point where you realize how much better life is as an EX smoker, non smoker or EXer it doesn't matter what you call it as long as you stick with your quit journey because once you get to that good place in your quit you'll be so glad that you stayed the course because Life really is Grand without a Cigarette in Hand.....  I SAY YAY FOR EACH AND EVERY DAY WON.

Grrrrrr I'm not much on the time change BUT I have no control over it so I have no choice BUT to suck it up and hope it doesn't screw up my sleep for more than a week BUT hey I won't be relapsing over the time change or the mixed bag of weather coming through tomorrow night into Monday or anything else that's happening in life because I don't smoke anymore and if you're struggling with remaining quit deep breaths and keep telling yourself that you don't do that anymore believe it and take as many deep breaths as you need to and stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance which guarantees you a LIFE of Freedom we're all here for you & we're here for each other through the good and the bad times because we care and we want everyone here at Ex to reap the benefits of being an Ex Smoker Non Smoker or EXer it doesn't matter what you call it as long as you stick with your quit journey....... because LIFE is going to happen whether you smoke or not so you might as well stick with your quit and smile at each and every Day WON.......

It sure is super fantastic NOT having to be outside freezing my butt & my fingers off trying to suck on a cancer stick in all kinds of weather nearly horking up a lung or possibly even both because I think I NEED that FIX BUT thankfully I wised up after 40 yrs of smoking at least 30 death sticks a day  I don't do that anymore with the help of this community I made it through and so can everyone because with the right Mindset we can do just about anything we put our minds to and quitting smoking should be at the top of the list of things to do for your health family and friends but especially your LIFE which is depending on you as difficult as quitting smoking can be it's absolutely Doable and totally worth it and even though I've got well over four and a half years in since I quit I'm still smiling  and I hope I always will be and I always want to remember and N.E.F - Never Ever Forget that horrid DAY ONE or those early days and weeks of quitting smoking because another Day ONE would totally suck big time but I consider another Day WON a gift of LIFE which I plan to treasure for the rest of my LIFE...... Mason is still sleeping this morning his mom is picking him up 11 o'clock then I've got to pick up my 92 year old mother in law so she can do some errands she's going to buy my lunch so that'll be nice..... Mason just got up   he said  to say good morning  to all of you my friends and Fellow Exers.

The pic of me in front of the snowbank is just a couple of miles from where I live it's just around the corner to where Mandy lives which is on a back road we sure had a wonderful time at the Castle Hotel,  I'm so glad that I am enjoying life on life's terms without the crutch of cigarettes Mandy was saying yesterday that she's wanting to quit I mentioned this site to her again and some of the mantras we use she's been here many times when I'm on line blogging and commenting plus I've let her read a couple of my blogs in the past so here's praying for Mandy and her hubby Jason to both quit for themselves as well as Mason and all of us that love them and want them to be around to enjoy the little things in life that's actually the the big things in LIFE here's praying for all smokers everywhere to bite the bullet and kick the nicotine poison to the curb permanently and start living a Smokefree Life because it's very Doable and so very worth it to be Free......   Mandy had quite a bit to do today so Mason wanted to come here to spend the night    Mandy is taking him bowling tomorrow then a movie I think he's  enjoying his March break .......

Sticking with N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever and vigilance works when applied on a daily basis it's definitely not easy in those early weeks BUT with commitment and perseverance you will get to that point where you realize how much better life is and you'll be so glad that you stuck with your quit journey because life really does get easier and easier with time under your belt and it's an awesome feeling to be able to go anywhere anytime whenever wherever and however without worrying about where to sneak off to suck on a damned Cancer Stick our quits are firmly in our grasp and it's up to us to nurture and protect the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE.  We can stick with with our quits N.M.W - No Matter What because there's No EXcuse on the face of this earth that's good enough to screw up a perfectly beautiful quit relapsing isn't the answer because Life is going to happen whether we smoke or not and our lives literally depends on us to remain Smokefree N.M.W. It takes time to live LIFE on LIFE'S Terms BUT boy oh boy it's so worth it to be Free......

It was really nice getting away with my daughter Mandy and Mason for an overnighter we went swimming lots and enjoyed good food and lots of laughter and just plain fun it was great and since I don't smoke anymore I didn't miss a minute of enjoyment it was wonderful  I still enjoy reaping the benefits at 1,696 Smokefree days of being an Ex Smoker Non Smoker or EXer it doesn't matter what we call as long as we stick with our quit journey  and keep stacking up those precious DOF so each evening we can say YAY for another Day WON because life really does keep getting better and better without the crutch of cigarettes ......
