It took me 40 years of smoking at least 30 of the yuckies (cigarettes) a day with at least a half dozen half assed attempts at quitting smoking I look back now and realize that I obviously wasn't ready to quit or one of those attempts would've stuck it wasn't until I found out that I have mild copd that I finally wised up and found this site and with the help of everyone here at Ex I'm living my Forever Quit and with commitment and perseverance anyone and everyone can and will be successful it's definetly horrendous at times in those early days and weeks BUT if you stop and think about how many decades you smoked and that every damned thing you did was wrapped around them it'll make perfect sense that it's bound to take time to relearn life without the damned Cancer Sticks BUT WOW it's worth whatever you have to go through to be Free PLUS your life (our) lives literally depends on us because if we don't look after ourselves nobody else can do it for us.....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
