We all know that smoking kills and it doesn't matter who you are or where you live it's bound to catch up with you at some point I used to think that I was invisible that I would most likely be buried with a Cigarette in my mouth oh I half heartedly tried at least a half dozen times to quit smoking the emphasis on tried and half heartedly otherwise one of those attempts might have stuck BUT after 40 years of smoking at least 30 a day a Dr sent me for a breathing test which showed mild copd that's when I realized that my life was worth so much more than the damned Cancer Sticks so I found this community and read everything I could find and set up a quit date but I wasn't ready when it came so I reset it and kept on reading I promised myself the night before that I was never ever going to smoke another cigarette as long as I live I don't break promises to anyone including myself. So I started my quit and for some reason I totally forgot about this site until my 18th day when I was ready to jump in my car and buy a carton of cigarettes SCREW just the pk BUT thankfully I did remember and got on line and started reading up until that point I'd just been hiding in the shadows and hadn't let myself be known BUT thankfully that day I commented on something and so many of you came and supported me and helped me through that rough patch and so many more YEP quitting smoking is EXtremely difficult BUT it's absolutely Doable....I was taught N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever & N.E.F - Never Ever Forget & S.I.N.A.O - Smoking Is Not An Option & N.M.W. - No Matter What PLUS there's so many more that I learned  LIKE - keep them away from your face & the only way out is through if you want to add some more please do........

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
