It's September 1st and the temp is sitting at 35 degrees brrr but we'll be warming up into the high 60s by the afternoon I'm not looking forward to Winter BUT I'm not going to think about that because I plan on enjoying Fall to the fullest along with helping my hubby Mark get the last of the garden in and getting our Winter's wood put in the basement, lots to get done, many of you probably remember me talking about my 59 year old brother in law Bob having roughly a year and a half to live he has stage 4 low grade kidney cancer anyway his younger sister is usually pretty tight with her money BUT she payed $200.00 for Bob to go for a hot air balloon ride 
his first response to his wife Wendy Mark's sister was what am I dying! Bob and Wendy both have the right Mindset neither one are giving up maybe just maybe some new Cancer treatments will come on the market BUT if not you must live until you die. Bob never smoked but he was an auto body painter for years, Wendy has never smoked either, life happens to non smokers too good and bad so for us that smoked decades upon decades then it's very wise to quit and stay quit because LIFE is way too short to knowingly slowly kill ourselves by going back to the damned Cancer Sticks, I'm thinking of our 
Nancy this morning and sending her gentle hugs along with lots of good thoughts and prayers for strength and healing and peace of mind and a speedy recovery, I'm also sending the same prayers to our Ellen elvan and Ken Pops and anyone else in need and prayers going up for everyone that is in the path of Hurricane Dorian......
