Happy five year milestone to me    when I signed up with this Site on June 22nd of 2014 I read everything I could find about this horrid addiction and I set up a quit date and I continued to read some each day BUT when July 7th came I wasn't ready so I reset it for the 14th of July I promised myself the night before that I would never ever pick up another cigarette as long as I live and my quit date arrived BUT for some reason I totally forgot about this site until my 18th day when I was having horrendous cravings back to back and they seemed never ending and I felt like I was having out of body experiences grrrrrr, I was ready to tear my hair out or rip someone's face off anyone's face it really didn't matter who's face and believe me when I say this is true, I've got at least a half dozen half assed attempts at quitting smoking until this time because of finding this community and thankfully that day when I was ready to jump in my car and buy a carton of cigarettes and SCREW just the pk    BUT I remembered and got on line and I commented on something up until that point I was hiding in the shadows and hadn't let myself be known BUT for some reason that day I did comment and it was moody_9-18-13 whom I haven't seen for quite some time she suggested that I write a blog and say a little about myself and so I did and here I am 5 splendiferous Smokefree years later. I believe by reading and educating myself on ways to kick the nicotine poison to the curb permanently and the mantras like N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever keep them away from your face and the only way out is through along with S.I.N.A.O - Smoking Is Not An Option & quitting smoking is DOABLE, N.E.F - Never Ever Forget N.M.W - No Matter What, there's many more BUT applying each and every one of these on a daily basis will give us a Smokefree Life which is the gift of LIFE..... Being pigheaded can be a really good thing.  I still smile at each and every Day WON because going back to another Day ONE would totally suck big time  BUT with N.O.P.E. and Vigilance it's never going to happen ever...

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
