I certainly wasn't smiling in my early weeks of my quit if I'm remembering correctly which I'm pretty sure I am no one came around me not even my kids because they'd been around me in my half dozen or so half assed failed attempts at quitting smoking in the past and knew that I'd most likely be quite b#tchy & not fit to be around so they stayed away EXcept to drop off the grandchildren because they were my one bright spot in my life & could make me smile no matter how bad the withdrawals and moodswings were the grandchildren were & and still are & always will be my incentive to live a Smokefree Life because enjoying the little things in life totally rocks and I knew way back in my early weeks of quitting smoking that I'd make it through because of everything that I read here and the mantras I've learned from this community like keep them away from your face and the only way out is through plus N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever and Vigilance & S.I.N.A.O - Smoking Is Not An Option, No Matter how difficult it is in those early weeks thankfully quitting smoking and remaining quit is absolutely DOABLE so stick with your quit journey - N.M.W. - No Matter What so each evening you can say YAY for another Day WON ...... Once you've reached the point where you realize how much better life is as an EX smoker non smoker or EXer it doesn't matter what you call it as long as you always remember and N.E.F - Never Ever Forget those early days and weeks of quitting smoking because another Day ONE would totally suck big time but another Day WON is the gift of LIFE.......
