It really does get easier and easier with time under our belts and life definitely gets better and better without the crutch of cigarettes BUT if you're in the throes of the horrendous cravings and moodswings and lack of sleep THEN it's pretty hard to believe that you'll ever get through the roller coaster ups and downs to that point where you realize how much better life is as an EX smoker, non smoker or EXer it doesn't matter what you call it as long as you stick with your quit journey because you can and will get to that good place in your quit, believe it deep breaths and keep moving forward so each evening you can say YAY for another Day WON.......I smoked for 40 years of at least 30 smokes a day with a half dozen half assed attempts at quitting smoking I used to think that I'd be buried with a Cigarette in my mouth BUT once I found out that I have mild copd that's when I realized that I wasn't invincible and decided to bite the bullet and took back my life and thanks to this awesome community and all of the wonderful folks here who helped me to realize how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes I'm on day 1,734  and still smiling   because I know that with commitment and perseverance that living a Smokefree Life is absolutely Doable and super fantastic.....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
