I remember the day that I finally wised up and knew that I was going to quit smoking and I also knew that even though I'd only had internet for a few months and was pretty green and definetly not tech savvy I'm still not  BUT I knew that I needed help so I googled HELP for quitting smoking and several communities came up this one was the one I picked I joined the 22nd of June and I read everything I could find about this horrid addiction and I learned that as difficult as quitting smoking can be that it's also Doable I learned all kinds of mantras, I picked a quit date BUT I wasn't ready so I reset it and then I totally forgot about this site until my 18th day when I was going to drive to the store and buy a carton of cigarettes SCREW just the pk BUT then I remembered and I got on line and started reading then I commented on something up until that point I was hiding in the shadows and hadn't let myself be known BUT thankfully moody_9-18-13 asked me to write a blog and say a little about myself so I did and so many came and helped me through that rough patch and so many others. Our quits are firmly in our grasp and it's up to us to nurture and protect the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE ! Smoking Is Not the answer no matter what the situation or emotions may be if you relapse the situation will still be there BUT you'll have screwed up a perfectly beautiful quit so relapsing isn't the way to go please come here and blog HELP and give us the chance to talk you through it, I've rambled on long enough I haven't been on site as much lately life has been hectic BUT I'll still be around rooting for everyone to stick with N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever and vigilance N.M.W . Which guarantees you a Smokefree Life our lives literally depends on us to stick with our quits, let's always remember and N.E.F - Never Ever Forget - that horrid DAY ONE or those early days and weeks of quitting smoking because there's absolutely no way any of us have to go back there N.M.W. - No Matter What  I still smile each evening for each and every Day WON because after 40 years of Slavery and a half dozen half assed failed attempts at quitting of at least 30 cancer sticks a day there's no way that I'm ever going to allow myself to go back to Day ONE again so let's all of us treasure our quits and continue stacking up those precious DOF - Days Of Freedom ........

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
