All of us that's made it through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep to get to that good place in our quits knows that it definetly wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination BUT with commitment and perseverance and sticking with N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever and vigilance and as Dale says keep them away from your face and the only way out is through which is 100 % truth, for me I decided after 40 yrs of smoking roughly 30 smokes a day with at least a half dozen half assed failed attempts I know now that I wasn't prepared to quit or one of those attempts would've stuck BUT this time I was ready to succeed I joined this site on the 22nd of June and set up a quit date BUT I wasn't ready so I reset it for the 14th of July and began my quit journey BUT for some reason I totally forgot about this site until my 18th day where I was ready to crawl out of my skin I was in the throes of back to back cravings and was ready to tear my hair out or rip someone's face off anyone's face it really didn't matter who's face, I was about to jump in my car and buy a carton of cigarettes SCREW just the pk BUT thankfully I remembered this site and got on line and thankfully there were lots of great folks that talked me down off the ledge like many people here I had several of those types of days many in fact BUT relapsing wasn't the answer and isn't the answer for anyone because withdrawals and moodswings won't kill us BUT smoking can and most likely will catch up with you and it doesn't matter who you are or where you live smoking kills and it kills slowly BUT thankfully quitting smoking and remaining quit is DOABLE . I'm pretty much done rambling now it's March break here in the Maritimes and I've been totally SHACK WACKY 
we got another 5 or 6 inches of the white crap yesterday BUT my daughter Mandy, Mason and I are headed to a fancy Hotel this afternoon for an overnighter the other two grandchildren weren't interested which is fine they're teenagers BUT we'll have a great time with a swimming pool a Jacuzzi and a weight room YAY for getting away. I'll be around sometime tomorrow afternoon I'm hoping Nancy ( YoungAtHeart ) will see if our buddy our pal our friend our Hump Day Camel George could possibly come make an appearance tomorrow, I'm so happy to be living life on life's terms without the crutch of cigarettes because life is Grand without a Cigarette in Hand and hopefully my daughter Mandy and her hubby and anyone else that's still smoking will decide to join the ranks of being an Ex Smoker Non Smoker or EXer it doesn't matter what you call it as long as you decide quit and stay quit ...... the bottom
Pic is two Christmas's ago it's really hard to get everyone together to get group pics BUT besides my health family is my incentive to continue living a life of Freedom, I think today I have 1,695 th DAY'S WON and I'm smiling .
