I had a difficult time believing that I could actually quit smoking let alone not even being sure that I wanted to quit BUT finding out that I have mild copd was the deciding factor in making the choice that I had to so I found this site which educated me on this horrid addiction and set up a quit date BUT I wasn't ready so I reset it and then I actually forgot about it until on my 18th day when I was struggling to the point where I was ready to drive to the store and buy a carton of cigarettes instead of just a pk up until that point I'd been lurking in the shadows and hadn't let myself be known so I got on line and commented on something and so many of you helped me through and reasured me that it was going to get easier and here I am one of those Happy Quitters heading towards my four year milestone in July sticking with N.O.P.E and vigilance works when applied on a daily basis as difficult as quitting can be it's absolutely Doable and so very worth it to be Free BUT first you must believe and be willing determined and totally committed to succeed and you can and will be reaping the benefits of being an Ex Smoker.....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
