FREEDOM starts with Day Won!

I still remember my Day ONE and never realized at the time how awesome it is to be living a Smokefree Life, it was a great feeling completing Day WON,  I'll have to look at my quit stat but now I'm somewhere around 1,384 days WON and still counting and enjoying my Freedom, if you haven't already quit now is the time to take back your life from the clutches of the nicotine poison or if you're struggling with remaining quit please know that you can get through the rough patches and you will relearn life without the crutch of cigarettes but you must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E  - Not One Puff Ever and Vigilance because it works when applied on a daily basis, it's not easy by any stretch of the imagination but boy oh boy it's so worth it. I smoked for 40 years at least 30 smokes a day and halfheartedly tried to quit at least a half dozen times but I know now that I wasn't ready or I would have succeeded it wasn't until I found out that I have mild copd that I finally figured out that I'm not invincible and found this site and educated myself on this horrid addiction by reading everything I could about quitting smoking and remaining quit there's a wealth of information here that strengthened my resolve to kick the nicotine poison to the curb and start living a life of Freedom permanently and then for whatever reason after I set my quit date I totally forgot about this site until on my 18th day when I was ready to jump out of my skin and in my car to buy a carton of cigarettes instead of just a pk, I was having horrendous craves BUT thankfully I remembered this site and got on line and commented on something up until that point I'd been lurking in the shadows and hadn't let myself be known I believe it was moody_9-18-13 that suggested to write a blog and say a little about myself so I did and here I am as difficult as quitting can be it's absolutely Doable and with the right Mindset we can do just about anything We put our minds to and quitting smoking should be at the top of the list of things to do.....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
