Share your quitting journey
Our lives literally depends on us to take care of ourselves and quitting smoking is definetly the one thing that we need to do for our health family and friends but most importantly our lives if we don't look after ourselves then nobody else can do it for us, two weeks from today my husband Mark will have four years of Smokefree living I continued to Smoke for another two and a half months but finally wised up too as difficult as quitting can be it's much easier than possibly dying from a damned smoking related illness, when I found out that I have mild copd that's when I decided to bite the bullet and stopped playing Russian Roulette with my life and I thought what if I continued to Smoke knowing that down the road a couple of years or so I might be sitting at a Dr's office being told sorry you waited too long to quit smoking so go home and get your affairs in order that scared the living crap out of me because I do know someone that happened too! Find the one thing that gets you dead serious about quitting and staying quit with a huge emphasis on Dead because seriously our lives are literally in our hands and our quits are firmly in our grasp we must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because S.I.N.A.O - Smoking Is Not An Option - anymore.....we must choose our life instead of the Cancer Sticks! Plowing through the first few weeks is absolutely difficult but DOABLE and it's going to get easier and easier with time under your belt but you must believe it and keep moving forward and stacking up your precious Days of Freedom so each evening you can look yourself in the mirror and smile and say yay for another Day WON.....
