There's definetly Life after Cigarettes and it's super fantastic BUT first everyone has to go through all of the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep to get to that point where you realize how much better life is without the smokes definetly hair pulling at times I know that it was for Me BUT hey We can live LIFE on LIFE'S Terms AND it starts with Day ONE which will turn into DAY WON by believing it and by being willing determined and totally committed to succeed & with perseverance you Will continue stacking up those precious Days of Freedom, I really do consider quitting a gift that keeps on giving day after day week after week month after month and Lord willing year after year after year BUT we have bite the bullet and take back our lives from the clutches of the dreaded nicotine poison, I'm so glad that after roughly half dozen failed attempts at quitting that I finally bit the bullet & stopped playing Russian Roulette with my life & am heading towards my 4 year milestone in July & I'll get there by sticking with N.O.P.E & vigilance because it works when applied on a daily basis because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore & I owe this Ex community a Huge Thank You for helping me get to where I am today & for all of the mantras that I use here like the only way out is through & keep them away from your face which I got from Dale, I'm so happy that I joined the ranks of being an Ex Smoker because Life is Grand without a Cigarette in Hand ....

Quitting smoking EXtremely difficult by any stretch of the imagination but boy oh boy it's so worth it and anything in this life worth having takes time and effort and quitting smoking should be at the top of the list of things to do for your health and family but especially your life which literally depends on all of us to quit and stay quit because if we don't nobody else can do it for us we all know smoking kills and it doesn't matter who you are or where you live or how old you are smoking can and most likely will catch up with you ending up on oxygen 7/24 or worse, I quit for my health 1,385 glorious days ago and as difficult as those first few weeks were I'd never trade it for the world because once I believed in myself then I knew that I'd succeed! You can and will be successful too believe it and stay close to this site and educate yourself by reading everything you can about quitting smoking and remaining quit that's what I did and I give this awesome community a Double Thumbs up for helping me through those Roller Coaster of ups and downs, believe in yourself and be willing determined and totally committed because with the right Mindset we can do just about anything We put our minds to and quitting smoking should be at the top of the list of things to do and if you stick with your quit and stay quit then you're Free so hang tough because there's definetly Life after Cigarettes and it's super fantastic

I still remember my Day ONE and never realized at the time how awesome it is to be living a Smokefree Life, it was a great feeling completing Day WON,  I'll have to look at my quit stat but now I'm somewhere around 1,384 days WON and still counting and enjoying my Freedom, if you haven't already quit now is the time to take back your life from the clutches of the nicotine poison or if you're struggling with remaining quit please know that you can get through the rough patches and you will relearn life without the crutch of cigarettes but you must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E  - Not One Puff Ever and Vigilance because it works when applied on a daily basis, it's not easy by any stretch of the imagination but boy oh boy it's so worth it. I smoked for 40 years at least 30 smokes a day and halfheartedly tried to quit at least a half dozen times but I know now that I wasn't ready or I would have succeeded it wasn't until I found out that I have mild copd that I finally figured out that I'm not invincible and found this site and educated myself on this horrid addiction by reading everything I could about quitting smoking and remaining quit there's a wealth of information here that strengthened my resolve to kick the nicotine poison to the curb and start living a life of Freedom permanently and then for whatever reason after I set my quit date I totally forgot about this site until on my 18th day when I was ready to jump out of my skin and in my car to buy a carton of cigarettes instead of just a pk, I was having horrendous craves BUT thankfully I remembered this site and got on line and commented on something up until that point I'd been lurking in the shadows and hadn't let myself be known I believe it was moody_9-18-13 that suggested to write a blog and say a little about myself so I did and here I am as difficult as quitting can be it's absolutely Doable and with the right Mindset we can do just about anything We put our minds to and quitting smoking should be at the top of the list of things to do.....

I know that I repeat myself pretty much daily and I'm definetly a broken record BUT our lives are hanging in the balance so in case I believe it's worth repeating that our lives literally depends on us to quit and stay quit, if anyone asked me if quitting smoking was easy? I'll be saying HELL NO!!!! BUT if  anyone asked me if quitting smoking was worth it ? I'll be saying HELL YES!!!! You have to stop and think about how many decades you smoked then it only stands to reason that you have to go through all of the ups and downs of withdrawals and whatever else to get to that point where you realize how much better life is without the cancer sticks and it's absolutely Doable and definitely difficult by any stretch of the imagination but boy anything in this life worth having takes time and effort and quitting smoking should be at the top of the list of things to do for your health family and friends but especially your life which is the gift of LIFE and I consider smoking the ONE GIFT that keeps on giving day after day week after week month after month and Lord willing year after year after year and it starts with Day ONE which can and will turn into DAY WON with many more to come which can and will turn into a life of Freedom BUT you must believe in yourself and be willing determined and totally committed to succeed and you can and will be successful and as Dale says keep them away from your face and the only way out is through but boy oh boy it's so worth it to be Free so hang on tight and don't let go because you can get through the rough patches and relearn life without the smokes and I can tell you that Life is Grand without a Cigarette in Hand so chin up and keep stacking your precious Days of Freedom so each evening you can look yourself in the mirror and smile and say yay for another Day WON ....

I was just talking to our dear friend Terrie which made my day  she'll be back here soon I was telling her about a post  I  like about Triumph and by pushing forward that Extra bit to get that UMPH! Our quit is Vital to our health, family and friends but most importantly our LIVES! Quitting smoking  can and is definetly difficult by any stretch of the imagination but boy oh boy it's so worth it to be Free so hang tough, quit smoking if you haven't already and if you're having a rough patch keep moving forward until you get the UMPH and continue moving forward and never look back because your new found Freedom is in front of you and once you've plowed through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep to get the UMPH then you'll realize just how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes and I say yay for each and every Day WON because there's definetly Life after Cigarettes and it's super fantastic, if we stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance then there's no way we can FAIL plus we have to remember that S.I.N.A.O  - Smoking Is Not An Option anymore.....

Life can and will give us all kinds of curve balls to deal with BUT it's going to happen whether we smoke or not and choosing Not to Smoke during stress and anxiety can be difficult to say the least but it's also very Doable and totally worth it and with the right Mindset we can do just about anything We put our minds to even when we're in the early, weeks or months of our quits things happen that kick you in the teeth that's when perservence and commitment kick in along with N.O.P.E and vigilance because with the right Mindset we can get through it and our lives literally depends on us to quit and stay because if we don't nobody else can do it for us. My husband Mark is celebrating his 4 years quit today yay Mark and I will be celebrating 4 yrs in July, it wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination in those early weeks, we had a very good friend die of Cancer in the first few months of quitting my older sister is in heard 3rd year of being Cancer free from breast cancer, my younger sister has had 2 major neck surgeries in the last three years she's still recouping, we learned to deal with life on life's terms without the crutch of cigarettes lots stuff has happened and will continue to happen BUT we must choose to live Smokefree permanently NMW because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore. On another note here's Georgette looking for George because she just reminded me that it's HUMP DAY and it's the last HUMP DAY OF APRIL  she wants to spend time with him so where is George hiding? He's also an Ex Smoker and is enjoying his Freedom and he does it like the rest of us by keeping them away from his face.

We really can't control what's happening around us with the choices that other people make But we do have complete control over how we handle it and we need to remember quitting smoking and sticking with our quits is a choice and our quits are firmly in our grasp so no matter what is happening in life we must choose to hold on to the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE,  I'm sick to my stomach with what's happening in Toronto with the van attack that's killed 10 with 15 injured some critical! I have NO control over that but I won't allow the tragedy of more senseless deaths to stress ME out where I'll put my life on the line and relapse because I'm upset instead I'll be EXtra Vigilant because life is going to happen whether I smoke or not & I choose Not!  I want to be around to enjoy my family and friends especially the grandchildren but I want to be as healthy as I possibly can be instead of going back to smoking knowing full well that I could end up on oxygen 7/24 or worse die a slow painful death that's most likely smoking related so Vigilance is key to success for Smokefree living for all of us! N.O.P.E - Not One Puff Ever and Vigilance Works when applied on a daily basis because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore.....

Once we've decided to bite the bullet and stop playing Russian Roulette with our lives then it's a really good idea to get educated on this horrid addiction I'm so glad I did because I learned a wealth of information here to help me through some horrendous craves between you awesome folks and the mantras I've learned on this site I am living a life of Freedom because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option for Me anymore &I want all of You and I promise to do the same let's always remember and N.E.F - Never Ever Forget those early days and weeks of quitting smoking because another Day ONE would totally suck big time but another Day WON is absolutely Spectacular, I enjoy my Freedom each and every day but I promise myself each morning to  Not become complacent and lose the best gift that I Will or any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE and I really do believe that our quits is a gift that keeps on giving day after day week after week month after month and Lord willing year after year so sticking with N.O.P.E and vigilance is Key to a lifetime of Freedom and if we keep them away from our then there's no way we can Fail and the only way out is through which we all had to do and if you asked me if quitting smoking was easy? I'll be saying HELL NO but if you asked me if quitting smoking was worth it? I'll be saying HELL YES! Quitting smoking by any stretch of the imagination is definetly difficult to say the least but very Doable and totally worth it to be Free so hang on tight and don't let go because you can get through the rough patches and you can and will relearn life without the crutch of cigarettes but you must believe it  and keep stacking your precious DOF....

Anything in this life worth having takes time and effort and quitting smoking should be at the top of the list of things to do for your health family and friends but especially your life which is literally counting on you to quit and stay quit, I remember several times during my early weeks that I didn't think I'd make it through the rough patches at times the cravings seemed almost overpowering, notice I said almost I knew I'd make it through because of all of you helping and telling me to read about this addiction and learn everything I could to help me through and you taught me the mantras which helped me tremendously and I know for a fact there's definetly Life after Cigarettes and it's super fantastic but first everyone that's quitting has to go through all of the withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep to get to that point where you realize how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes so please hang on tight and stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore, keep them away from your face and the only way out is through but boy oh boy it's so worth it to be Free, once we've been quit for awhile let's never ever take our precious quit for granted I never want to become complacent and lose the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift so let's always remember and N.E.F - Never Ever Forget those early days and weeks of quitting smoking because No more Day ONES because that would totally suck big time but another Day WON is awesome ! Also H.A.L.T  - Hungry Angry Lonely Tired  - taking EXtra good care of ourselves is very important, we've all struggled with our quits but made it through to that good place and you will too but you must keep stacking up your precious DOF.

Once we make the decision to quit smoking and actually quit then we must persevere through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep and stick to our quit no matter what is happening in life because relapsing isn't the answer it actually would totally suck having to go back to another Day ONE Vigilance is key each and every day which is awesome so we can look ourselves in the mirror and smile and say yay for another Day WON! I'm so thankful that I wised up and threw the yuckies(cigarettes) away ,it wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination but with the help of this community I'm Smokefree and I SAY YES TO BEING AN EX  AN EX SMOKER THAT IS.

Quitting smoking is definetly difficult to say the least but very Doable and totally worth it to be Free so hang tough & stick with N.O.P.E  - Not One Puff Ever & Vigilance - plus - H.A.L.T - Hungry Angry Lonely Tired - taking EXtra good care of yourself helps get you the rough patches & as Dale says keep them away from your face & the only way out is through & he's absolutely right, quitting is an individual's choice that everyone has to make at some point, I wanted to make the choice while I was on this side of the grass & if you've been quit awhile like me let's always remember & N.E.F  - Never Ever Forget those early days and weeks of quitting smoking because another Day ONE would totally suck big time but another Day WON totally Rocks, I have a couple of appointments this morning so I better get moving.

I like to think that quitting smoking Is the one gift that we can give to ourselves that will  keep on giving day after day week after week month after month and Lord willing year after year I consider it the Gift of LIFE and it's definitely the wisest decision that anyone of us will ever make for our health family and friends but especially our lives which  literally depends on us to quit and stay quit, if we don't quit smoking no one else can do it for us our quits are firmly in our grasp we must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because it's up to us to live Smokefree permanently and live a life of Freedom because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore, as difficult as quitting can be it's absolutely Doable and totally worth it to be Free.....

There's only one more Hump Day to go,  April is floating right along it's hard to believe that it's Spring with all the snow still here but it is and May is just around the corner but YAY for Smokefree living and yay for each and every Day WON for all of us whether you're on day one or day one thousand or wherever you may be in your quit all that matters is you keep moving forward and stacking up your precious DOF and if you haven't quit smoking yet then it's way past time to join the ranks of being an Ex Smoker, it's definetly not easy by any stretch of the imagination but if you stop and think about how many decades you smoked then it only stands to reason that you have to go through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals, moodswings and lack of sleep and to relearn life without the crutch of cigarettes BUT it's so worth it and anything in this life worth having takes time and effort and quitting smoking should be at the top of the list of things to do for your health family and friends but especially your life! Quitting is a choice and it's the absolute best choice that any of us will ever make in our lifetime, I consider quitting a gift that keeps on giving day after day week after week month after month and Lord willing year after year after year and once we've quit and we stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance then there's no way we can FAIL.....

I never thought of LIFE after Cigarettes because up until I actually quit smoking it just never crossed my mind BUT now that I've EXPerienced life after Cigarettes I'll be making EXtra sure that I - N.E.F. - Never Ever Forget  - My early days and weeks of quitting smoking because I'm never going to take my quit for granted and all of you that may be reading this let's always remain vigilant while enjoying our Freedom because our lives literally depends on us to to not become complacent and lose the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE and if you're having a rough time remaining quit please take deep breaths and know that you've got this quit firmly in your grasp believe it and stick with N.O.P.E and know that we're here to help you through the rough patches in any way we can BUT you must continue to be willing determined and totally committed to succeed  then you will be successful one precious Smokefree Day at a time or hour minute or even a second at a time it can be EXtremely difficult  by any stretch of the imagination but you will get through it because as difficult as it is, it's absolutely Doable and so very worth it to be Free...

None of us know for sure how long we'll be around on this earth or when our lives will come to a abrupt end and it's lights out, I'm really glad that we don't know BUT when it comes to quitting smoking we all pretty much know that it's a very wise decision, difficult for sure but necessary to our health and quality of living and we know that continuing to smoke is like playing Russian Roulette because smoking kills and it doesn't matter who you are or where you live at some point it's most likely some form of a smoking related illness will catch up with us so by quitting smoking we're taking control of our lives which literally depends on us to do so and I figure our lives are worth so much more than the damned Cancer Sticks and our family and friends would like us to be around to enjoy the best quality of life that is possible so by quitting and sticking with N.O.P.E and vigilance then we'll definetly be living a life of Freedom because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore! Our lives deserves for us to live Smokefree permanently ....

I put away the googly eyes  for now   I'm smiling this cool morning at 14 degrees but it's going to warm up and snow with a mixed bag of weather including a long duration of freezing rain then it's supposed to switch over to straight rain by tomorrow evening into Wednesday which hopefully will wash some of the white crap away then hopefully we'll all get some Spring Weather before Summer arrives, if you're in this freezing rain weather stay safe and if you're having a rough patch with your quit, please take deep breaths and know that you've got this quit firmly in your grasp and we're all here to help you through it in any way we can BUT you must let us know by blogging Help so we'll know that you need support because we want everyone to live a life of Freedom because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore so by sticking with N.O.P.E and vigilance there's No Way That You Can Fail, i know that quitting smoking Is EXremely difficult by any stretch of the imagination but boy oh boy it's so worth it to be Free so hang tough because there's definetly Life after Cigarettes and it's super fantastic feeling when you get to that point where you realize how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes so don't give up keep moving forward and stacking up your precious Days of Freedom so each evening you can look yourself in the mirror and smile and say yay for another Day WON ••••

Quitting smoking is definetly difficult to say the least but very Doable and remaining quit is also very Doable and once you've plowed through the roller coaster ups and downs and get to that good place in your quit where you realize how much better life is without the nicotine poison and you're dealing with Life on life's terms it's a super fantastic feeling when you get to that AHA Moment of happiness knowing that you're never going to back to Day ONE, that's where N.E.F comes in Handy always Remember AND N.E.F - Never Ever Forget those early days and weeks of quitting smoking because only Days WON  for us EXers because we stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance which is the gift of LIFE that'll keep on giving day after day week after week month after month and Lord willing year after year and all we have to do is as Dale says keep them away from our face because it works when applied on a daily basis .....

Mason and I had lots of fun today now I'm so tired but it's a great tired my daughter picked him up around 3 o'clock, Do you like my New Avatar? I just put up temporarily, hee hee hee I wonder where I got the idea from LOL I'm a big kid and being around the grandchildren especially Mason makes me feel young again even if it's just while he's here, he just turned 9 and he still enjoys being around us old foggies and I can treasure every moment now that I don't smoke anymore and I never ever want to become complacent and lose the best gift that I'll ever give myself which is the gift of LIFE so sticking with N.O.P.E and vigilance will ensure ME a life of Freedom because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore for Me or any of us! OUR  lives literally depends on us to quit and stay quit so each evening we can look ourselves in the mirror and smile and say yay for another Day WON.....once we've been quit for awhile we must N.E.F  - Never Ever Forget those early days and weeks of quitting smoking because another Day ONE would totally suck big time but another Day WON is Awesome.....

It's another PT day so I got Mason to spend the night last night we had a skiff of snow but it's pretty much melting now, he still likes the snow but I'm ready for it to be gone without any flooding of course, be sure to stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore the only way out is through so by keeping them away from your face there's just No way you can fail, we've all struggled with our quits and had to go through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep but we did because as difficult as it was,  it was Doable and we  got to that point where we realized how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes and you'll get there too by moving forward and stacking up your precious Days of Freedom so each evening you can look yourself in the mirror and smile and say yay for another Day WON! It's absolutely wonderful to be able to go anywhere anytime whenever wherever and however without worrying about where to sneak off to suck on a cancer stick BUT the best part of my Forever quit is not missing precious time with the grandchildren by being outside smoking instead I'm inside building memories, Mason and I wish everyone a Stressfree hasslefree but most importantly a Smokefree Day xo....

I'm one of those smokers that half heartedly tried to quit at least a half dozen times until the scare of being told that I have mild copd that's when I decided to bite the bullet and stopped playing Russian Roulette with my life because I finally figured out that I'm not invincible that I could end up on oxygen 7/24 or worse die a slow painful death that's most likely smoking related so for me after 40 yrs of smoking of at least 30 smokes a day my health was the wake up call I needed to quit smoking because if I didn't take my life back from the clutches of the nicotine poison, nobody else could do it for me as difficult as quitting can be it's much easier than the alternative of continuing to smoke knowing the possible consequences that could happen we all know that smoking kills and it doesn't matter who you are or where you live or how old you are our lives literally depends on us to quit so I decided I'd better to bite the bullet and quit on this side of the grass, was it easy? HELL NO!!!! BUT was it worth it? HELL YES!!! If You're struggling please know that as long as You are willing to keep moving forward and are totally committed to succeed then you can and will be successful one precious Smokefree Day at a time or hour minute or even a second at a time but you must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance and we're all here to help you in any way we can .....

Our lives literally depends on us to take care of ourselves and quitting smoking is  definetly the one thing that we need to do for our health family and friends but most importantly our lives if we don't look after ourselves then nobody else can do it for us, two weeks from today my husband Mark will have four years of Smokefree living I continued to Smoke for another two and a half months but finally wised up too as difficult as quitting can be it's much easier than possibly dying from a damned smoking related illness, when I found out that I have mild copd that's when I decided to bite the bullet and stopped playing Russian Roulette with my life and I thought what if I continued to Smoke knowing that down the road a couple of years or so I might be sitting at a Dr's office being told sorry you waited too long to quit smoking so go home and get your affairs in order that scared the living crap out of me because I do know someone that happened too! Find the one thing that gets you dead serious about quitting and staying quit with a huge emphasis on Dead because seriously our lives are literally in our hands and our quits are firmly in our grasp we must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because S.I.N.A.O - Smoking Is Not An Option - anymore.....we must choose our life instead of the Cancer Sticks! Plowing through the first few weeks is absolutely difficult but DOABLE and it's going to get easier and easier with time under your belt but you must believe it and keep moving forward and stacking up your precious Days of Freedom so each evening you can look yourself in the mirror and smile and say yay for another Day WON.....

Brrrrrrrrrrr it's cold outside at 13°F with gusty winds brrrrrrrrrrr again but YAY for Smokefree living because I'm not outside with my coffee sucking on a cancer stick coughing choking and nearly horking up a lung or possibly even both trying to get my fix, you know I really don't miss that at all and before I quit smoking I used to joke about being buried with a cigarette in my mouth BUT that was before finding out that I have mild copd because up until that point I think I thought I was invincible and that other people got the smoking related illnesses even my husband that quit 2 1/2 months before I did because of finding out he has mild emphysema he'll have 4 years quit the 25th of April,  I continued to Smoke thinking I was just fine WOW on the power and strength of this addiction BUT once we've got the right Mindset and realize that it's time to take back our lives from the clutches of the dreaded nicotine poison by educating ourselves with reading everything we can about quitting smoking and remaining quit we already know quitting Smoking is absolutely difficult to say the least BUT by educating ourselves we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's absolutely DOABLE with N.O.P.E and vigilance BUT we must believe it and be willing determined and totally committed to succeed and then we'll definetly be successful because there's just No way we can fail so quit if you haven't already and if you're having a rough patch please let us know by blogging Help then wait for someone or more likely many of us will be here to help you through it and if you don't think you can wait for a few minutes then if you have to Sit On Your Hands because you can't open your door to get to a store if you're sitting on your hands deep breaths and know that quitting smoking won't kill you BUT continuing to smoke is Extremely dangerous to your health and quality of living....

Quitting smoking is definetly difficult to say the least but very Doable and totally worth it to be Free so choosing to quit and stay quit is the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE our health family and friends but especially our lives will thank us and our wallets should even be a little fuller, if you're going through the rough patches stay close because we're all here to help you in any way we can BUT you must let us know by blogging Help so we'll know as difficult as the first few weeks are it's one hell of alot better than continuing to slowly kill ourselves so hang on tight and don't let go because you can get through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep to get to that point where you realize how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes chin up and keep stacking up your precious Days of Freedom.

It's snowing again but we're not supposed to get too much which sounds great to me  my 9 year old grandson Mason is spending the wk end he's still enjoying the Snow  and is hoping to get outside later today to play in it. Gramp and I are taking him to Wal-Mart later this morning and out for lunch the best part of being an Ex Smoker is the quality time with family especially the grandchildren because I'm not wasting precious time outside sucking on a cancer stick while he's waiting for me to come back inside while I'm deciding to light up a second or maybe even a third with him possibly opening the door asking when I'm coming back in, whew I'm some glad I quit because I actually remember my oldest grandson Adam who's 14 now doing Exactly that opening the door asking when I'm coming back in or going for a drive and me pulling over to have a Smoke outside the car and looking back on that time makes me feel so bad thankfully I don't do that anymore and it's super fantastic. There's nothing but positives to quitting Smoking BUT you must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance and once you've plowed through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep and you've relearned life without the crutch of cigarettes then you'll realize just how much better life is, it's definetly not easy by any stretch of the imagination but boy oh boy it's so worth it to be Free so hang on tight and don't let go of the best gift that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE ! Choose life over the Nicotine Poison because it's the best decision that you'll ever make in your lifetime and it's wonderful to be able to go anywhere anytime whenever wherever and however without worrying about where to sneak off to suck on a cancer stick so when you stop and think about it there's nothing but negatives to smoking!

I know that I sound like a a broken record but I want everyone to live a life of Freedom because S.I.N.A.O-- Smoking Is Not An Option anymore, I always want to remember and - N.E.F. - Never Ever Forget - those early days and weeks of quitting smoking because I'm never going to back to Day ONE only Days WON and I want that for everyone but unfortunately it's an individual's choice and everyone has to make the decision to quit smoking for themselves and I pray that it's made on this side of the grass while there's still lot's of LIFE to Enjoy, I'm hoping my daughter,  Mason's mom and his Dad too will quit soon but unfortunately I can't do anything about it EXcept to continue stacking up my precious days of Freedom and showing them that quitting smoking Is Doable and staying quit is also Doable.....

All schools are cancelled I imagine all of the kids are happy for another day off this week, Sam seems to be doing better, she ate the boiled hamburger and rice I cooked yesterday I cooked extra so she ate this morning and she's moving around better  her eyes are definetly brighter and have been since about supper time yesterday so we'll see how she does and the Prosense joint solution pills that was suggested to me may be helping too anyway we'll take it one day at a time BUT I won't be smoking over this or anything else because I don't do that anymore, if you're struggling with remaining quit please know that you can and will be successful BUT you must believe in yourself and be willing determined and totally committed to succeed you've got this quit firmly in your grasp stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore, quitting smoking is a choice and staying quit is also a choice and through the rough patches it may seem like you can't make it through BUT you must tell yourself YES you can and will make it through because you will if you believe it and as Dale says keep them away from your face because the only way out is through AND I say boy oh boy it's so worth it to be Free so hang tough because life is Grand without a Cigarette in Hand so chin up and keep stacking up your precious DOF because you will get to that point where you realize how much better life is without the cancer sticks but first you have to go through all of the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep to get to that good place in your quit which you will by sticking with N.O.P.E and vigilance so each evening you can look yourself in the mirror and smile and say yay for another Day WON....

Once we make the decision to quit smoking then we must stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option anymore, life happens whether we smoke or not and choosing Not to Smoke during stress and anxiety can be difficult to say the least but having the right mindset and the perservence to plow through the rough patches is doable and a must in order to look ourselves in the mirror each evening smiling saying YAY for another Day WON,  my 14 1/2 year old Samantha Digger Jane Hartley is showing her age and it's breaking our hearts Mark and I are watching her closely to be sure that she's not in pain we're hoping she'll just go to sleep but if she gets to the point of pain and discomfort I'll be taking her to the Vet, I'm having a hard time writing this, we've had her since she was 6 wks old  her birthday is October 11th, here's a pic at roughly 6 wks and here's one I just took now, as heartbreaking as this is I won't be smoking over this or anything else because I don't do that anymore, my life, your life, all of our lives literally depends on us to quit and stay quit so I'm off to see Mason in a concert with my daughter and she smokes but I'll be keeping them away from my face and I pray my Sam will be OK until I get back, I'm only planning on staying long enough to see Mason.....

Quitting smoking is a choice that everyone of us has to make at some point  I always thought that other people got the smoking related illnesses NOT ME even my husband who quit two and a half months before me when he found out he has mild emphysema but I thought I was just fine so I continued to Smoke outside of course we hadn't smoked in the house for over a decade then I found out that I have mild copd, looking back into my Smoking days sitting outside in all kinds of weather nearly horking up a lung or possibly even both by choking, hacking and coughing on that first Cancer Stick of the morning! Should have been a warning sign BUT in my addicted mind I was A OK! WOW after 40 yrs of smoking of at least 30 smokes a day I finally wised up and threw the yuckies  (cigarettes) away with the help of this community, it was EXtremely hair pulling, rip your face off feelings which I felt like doing at times but didn't   I'd cry one minute and feel like screaming or laughing the next but I got through it by sticking with N.O.P.E and vigilance and I wanted my life back from the clutches of the nicotine poison and I knew from reading everything here on this site that I was going to succeed with Perseverance and commitment and the Right mindset that I would get to the point of reaping the benefits of being an Ex Smoker and I did!  I'm one of those those Happy Quitters and I have been for quite some time believe ME when I say it's totally worth it to be Free so hang tough because there's definetly Life after Cigarettes and it's super fantastic, each morning make the choice to stay quit so in the evenings you can look yourself in the mirror and smile and say yay for another Day WON.....

He's been doing that for the last 20 yrs or so getting up at 5 to start cooking at 6 breakfast starts at 8 church roughly at 9  quite a few of us wives just relax at home with our coffee but this morning I'm running late but it's not a big deal anymore since I quit smoking because I don't need 5 or 6 smokes with 4 or 5 coffee to function which is a giant plus on rushed mornings instead I get to sip on a coffee and write a post to all of you wishing each of a wonderful Easter Sunday, I'm telling you as difficult as quitting can be it's Doable and so very worth it so if you're struggling with remaining quit please know that you can and will be successful one precious Smokefree Day at a time or hour minute or even a second at a time but you must believe it and stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because there's definetly Life after Cigarettes and it's super fantastic, now I better get moving humongous, ginormous Easter hug to all.
