Kicking Nicotine's Ash

It's been 43 months or 1,311 days since I wised up and threw the yuckies (cigarettes) away and with the help of this community I made it through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals, moodswings and lack of sleep but by reading everything I could right here on this site I knew that I could make it, it sure as HELL wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination but I was determined that no matter what I was going to succeed so I could Lord willing be around to enjoy a much better quality of living. We had our 8 year old grandson Mason after school for a few hrs yesterday and it's absolutely wonderful being an EXer because I'm not wasting my time sneaking outside and losing precious time with him, this morning my husband wished me Happy Valentine's day and Happy Anniversary because today is 7 years since quitting drinking I'm a recovering alcoholic, yay for me, my husband still drinks but I'm free and he wished me Happy Hump Day and I wish each of you reading this Happy Hump Day, deep breaths and keep plowing forward because I remember those early days and weeks of quitting smoking but in order to EXperience how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes you must persevere and you must do it one precious Smokefree Day at a time or hour minute or even a second at a time and you will succeed and you will be living a life of Freedom. There's definetly Life after Cigarettes and everyone can live it  but everyone has to believe in themselves and must be willing, determined and totally committed to succeed and then everyone can go about life's daily routine an Ex Smoker then once we made it through to that point where you realize how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes then we'll always stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance because S.I.N.A.O  - Smoking Is Not An Option and we will  - N.E.F - Never Ever Forget - No More  Day ONE - Only Days WON - because Freedom Rocks! H.A.L.T  - Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired  - anyone of these could screw up a perfectly beautiful quit so taking EXtra precautions by eating properly and looking after ourselves then we will kick Nicotine's Ash to the curb permanently....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
