Quitting smoking is a choice that everyone has to make at some point and hopefully the choice will be made before a Dr says sorry but you waited too long to quit smoking so go home and get your affairs in order that thought crossed my mind when I realized I wasn't invincible and I'm lucky because I was only told that I have mild copd and need to quit smoking that was enough to scare the Crap out of me and I wanted to quit while I was on this side of the grass or on  this side of the mountain of snow if you're in a snowbelt like me but seriously we all know that smoking kills and by quitting can quite possibly give us a few EXtra yrs of a much better quality of living. I decided to quit playing Russian Roulette with my life and bit the bullet and if you were to ask me if it was easy in the first few weeks? I'd have to be honest and say HELL NO! But if you ask me if it's worth it? I'll be saying HELL YES! There's definitely life after Cigarettes and it's it's worth the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals, moodswings and the broken up sleep and everything else that goes along with quitting this disgusting horrendous addiction because this damned addiction doesn't care who gets sick with Cancer or some other smoking related illness and it doesn't care who you are, it just kills and it kills slowly but if you choose to quit you'll get through the rough patches and come out the other side smiling and realising that life really does get better and better without the crutch of cigarettes but you must believe it and keep stacking up your precious Days WON!  Life really does get easier and easier with time under our belts!

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
