Quitting smoking is definetly difficult to say the least but it's absoloutely Doable and at some point everyone quits and hopefully it's before it's too late before a Dr. Says I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do for you so get your affairs in order while you're able, quitting Smoking on our terms is the way to do it! Is quitting smoking difficult? HELL YES! But is Quitting Smoking worth it? HELL YES! Once a person stops and thinks about how long we've been a slave to the dreaded Cancer Sticks then it only stands to reason that it's going to take quite a bit of time to get through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawls and mood swings and to relearn life without that crutch of smoking but it's Doable, we all had to believe it and we had to be willing determined and 100 % committed to succeed. I smoked for 40 yrs and decided to quit once I found out I have mild copd 2 and a half months after my husband quit for the same reason but I thought I was fine and was invincible to smoking related illnesses so that was my wake up call, I Found this site and read everything I could find about this horrid addiction and decided to take back my life and that was well over 3 precious yrs ago! Was it easy HELL NO! BUT IT SURE WAS WORTH IT BECAUSE NOW I AM FREE! IT'S A CHOICE TO QUIT OR IT'S A CHOICE TO CONTINUE TO SMOKE AND I THINK CONTINUING TO SMOKE IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS BECAUSE THAT'S PLAYING RUSSIAN ROULETTE WITH YOUR LIFE, I HOPE EVERYONE QUITS WHILE STILL ON THIS SIDE OF THE GRASS!
Once we bite the bullet and finally quit and we finally get to that good place then that's where we make sure that we don't let ourselves get lazy & complacent we can go about our daily routines while remaining Vigilant because our lives are literally depending on us to protect the best gift that we'll ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE!
