Share your quitting journey
A friend of mine finally passed away last night from cancer, his wife Susan called to let me know he smoked right up until a few days ago, he's been on oxygen for over a year. Susan still smokes and is also on oxygen. She told me that she was going to go out for a cigarette but knew it was close so she stayed and she said in a few minutes he was gone. In my little corner of the world I've literally lost count of how many people have died in the last couple of yrs mostly from cancer and from the people I knew that passed most of them were smokers, coincidence maybe but I doubt it. I sometimes wonder if I'm living in the Cancer Belt of NB. Quit smoking if you haven't already, if you are struggling to hold on to your quit please believe that you can and will be successful but you must remain willing, determined and totally committed to get through the rough patches and you will. Remember anything in this life worth having takes time and effort and I believe that Quitting Smoking is the most important thing that any of us will ever give ourselves which is the gift of LIFE, our health, family and even our wallets benefit big time so kick the nicotine poison to the curb and start living a life of Freedom!
